About

Business thinking, backed by 18+ years of practical technology delivery.

Our story

We've spent 18+ years at the intersection of business strategy and technology — most recently in senior subject-matter and key-account roles in telecoms, and before that in senior delivery and leadership roles at Ernst & Young and across the technology sector. Across that time we've designed and deployed commercial business intelligence platforms used for decision-making up to CTO and C-suite level, led process re-engineering and automation programmes, and managed the commercial P&L for consulting engagements across multiple stakeholder environments.

Along the way, that work produced results we can point to directly: a 15% reduction in project costs from an automated data-processing system that paid for itself within 8 months, a 25% cut in month-on-month ad-hoc costs through better planning discipline, and a 40% improvement in analysis turnaround that let a client get new technology to market ahead of competitors.

Our team holds an MBA and a Postgraduate Diploma in General Management from GIBS, a BSc in Informatics from UNISA, and completed the Management Advancement Programme at Wits Business School — the combination of business and technical grounding this practice is built on.

TAC Wealth exists because most growing businesses need exactly that combination — someone who understands the commercial stakes, not just the technology — and can't yet justify hiring it full-time. We work with clients in South Africa and internationally, offering flexible engagements from a single focused assessment through to an ongoing fractional CTO relationship.

Why South Africa + international

We're based in Johannesburg, and that's a genuine advantage, not just a location note: South African engagements benefit from same-timezone, in-market delivery, while international clients in the US, UK, and Canada get senior, C-suite-calibre systems experience at a fraction of the cost of hiring locally — with enough timezone overlap with the UK and US East Coast to run as a real working relationship, not just async reports.
